About the Author

As the child of a diplomat working for the UN, Ro was born in Zimbabwe and spent half her life living in South East Asia and Europe. She has lived in Thailand, Pakistan, India, Sri Lanka, Switzerland, France, Italy, Spain, Trinidad and Tobago, Turks and Caicos, and Northern Ireland.

Following her hearts call to New York City in 2008, just as the economy collapsed, she rowed from one industry and layoff to the next. It wasn’t until she was laid off from her “dream” job at an art gallery, that it became apparent how this rat race she was a part of was a race she never wanted to be in.

However, the layoff from the gallery was unique compared to the others as it gave her a precious gift. A gift she never knew how important it was until she had it: Time.

This unexpected gift of time (along with a clerical error in her tax returns) allowed her to fulfill her true, life-long dream of hiking the Inca Trail to Machu Picchu. It was on this mystical, spiritual journey in April 2011, where Ro had a spontaneous past life experience, an experience that changed her entire being. All her prior beliefs, her world view, all of it was shattered. She had discovered her soul and experienced first-hand something that for millennia has been regarded as merely a myth, that reincarnation is a universal truth, and we are all spiritual beings having a human experience.

This blog was created as an outlet for her dreams and her experiences. Upon realizing that her dreams weren’t just dreams, but were coded messages from angels, who have been guiding her her entire life to evolve, consciously and spiritually- she learned that everyone has the power to tap into their inner consciousness. By providing examples of how she has come to understand her dream dictionary, which is deeply personal and unique to each individual, one can learn to trust their intuition to row through life and ultimately reach their souls highest potential. As others awaken and come into their true selves, this blog aims to help them so that they too can help themselves.

“It is not in the stars to hold our destiny but in ourselves.”

  1. I really enjoy your blog! It’s very honest with a hint of humor that at times really comes across as if you and the reader are friends..very personable.

  2. I TOTALLY agree with you on the whole work-to-live idea about life. The US is a fantastic place to live, and I am so glad to have been raised there and have the opportunity to go back whenever I want, but the idea that I have to sacrifice my life for the job and follow the “norms” is not appealing.

Congratulations to you for taking advantage to do what life is meant to be done: LIVE!

  3. I am glad to learn about adventurous people like you who have the guts to venture out into the world on a road less traveled to find and experience things most people only dream about while sitting in their sofas nibbling on chips and popcorn. Beautiful pictures and very exotic locations.

  4. From one pseudo professional to another: Row on Ro Ro. Alliteration unintended.

Cliche’s be damned. In life, neither the journey, nor the destination matter. Life is urgency. The anticipation and inescapable desire to experience.

To articulate such experiences for the masses and use them to enhance your own collective life experience through this Blog, is commendable and, as I said before… admirable.

    Row on!
